The purpose of the Sanction List Screening Policy is to ensure compliance of TTEP with sanctions, i.e. to ensure that TTEP and/or any of our employees does not establish or maintain business relations or processes any transactions with sanctioned persons, entities or countries. The Policy covers economic and financial sanctions, trade embargoes and other restrictive measures imposed, administered or enforced from time to time by USA, UN, EU or UK.

TTEP believes that sanctions are a vital tool for combatting terrorism and maintaining and/or restoring international peace and security. TTEP is committed to avoiding trade with sanctioned parties or anyone in sanctioned countries. TTEP also does not have business relationships with business partners who are known to be in violation of the principles underlying the Policy. TTEP’s golden rule is that it would rather lose a particular business opportunity than engage in illegal or unethical conduct.

Screening of sanction lists is an integral part of TTEP’s Know Your Customer Directive. TTEP actively collaborates with both supervisory and legal authorities concerning the enforcement of sanction systems. TTEP reports any breach of a sanction’s regime to the appropriate authority in a timely manner and in accordance with law.
